Wolfgang Korn’s single, Indigo Well captures a sense of retreat, building an immersive electronic atmosphere from ambient textures, melodic techno rhythms, and deep house influences.
Created in Sedona, Arizona, the track reflects the striking environment surrounding Korn, whose German-American background brings together European musical traditions and the expansive character of the American West.

The single emerged from Korn’s fascination with deep ambient techno and explores what he describes as an inward retreat from the turbulence of contemporary life. Rather than chasing bright, immediate energy, Indigo Well settles into shadowy, secluded spaces, encouraging listeners to disappear into its carefully constructed mood.
A notable milestone for Korn, this is his first production made with Bitwig Studio, a change he found more intuitive than his previous workflow. The track also incorporates extensive samples taken from sounds created with his own hardware synthesizers, giving the production a distinctly personal character.
The result is a thoughtful, atmospheric piece that balances experimentation with emotional depth.
