New York underground rock veteran Mike Power returns with You Have To Know, an emotionally charged single that puts love and honesty front and center. Pairing heartfelt vocals with energetic guitars and a soaring chorus, the track balances melodic indie rock with echoes of post-punk and modern alternative sounds. Its intimate, letter-like quality gives the song a refreshing sincerity, capturing the importance of expressing feelings before opportunities disappear. Following 2025’s You Might Be Surprised, this release offers the first glimpse of Changing of the Garden, expected in early 2027 via Paper Garden Records.
