Leo Duke & The North Wind bring a personal story of resilience and self-discovery to Coming Home, a single that combines acoustic rock textures with the commanding energy of classic arena rock. Written by frontman Leo Duke, the track explores his decision to leave an unhealthy musical environment behind and pursue a sound that better reflects his artistic identity.
Featuring Duke on vocals and guitar, Jacob Lott on lead guitar, Shannon Wilk on bass, and Sam Wall on drums, the Nashville outfit delivers a performance rooted in traditional rock influences while embracing a more vulnerable lyrical approach. Acoustic guitar plays a central role in the arrangement, marking a first for the band and adding a softer dimension to their otherwise powerful musical style.
Coming Home also represents a renewed chapter for the group. An earlier demo appeared in 2023, but the song has since been revisited with producer David Dicks at his private studio in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Following their initial collaboration in late 2025, the band continued working with Dicks to refine its sound. The result is an honest, guitar-driven release about reclaiming independence, finding direction, and moving toward a more authentic future.
