M3TIN has unveiled French-language single Notre histoire est finie, presentsing heartbreak as a conversation, with male and female vocalists exchanging emotional viewpoints after a relationship collapses. Driven by expressive piano and sweeping urban pop production, the track blends intimate moments with cinematic scale, creating a dramatic atmosphere without losing its personal touch.
The release also represents the latest chapter in an ambitious multilingual concept. Rather than translating lyrics, the project rebuilds one original narrative into naturally written versions across several languages, with every adaptation carefully reviewed by native speakers to preserve authenticity while respecting cultural expression.
This French edition follows earlier Kazakh, Arabic and Khmer releases, while Portuguese and Spanish interpretations are scheduled next. Interestingly, the song first existed in Turkish but remains intentionally unheard. That original recording is being saved until 2027, reflecting the label’s unusual philosophy of introducing stories internationally before finally returning them to their birthplace.
Accompanying the single is Le Film, a visually focused music video structured through thirty-two shots spread across eleven scenes, embracing a slow cinema aesthetic that matches the song’s reflective mood.
