UK outfit Nashville Exile continues building momentum with Sing Our Song, a single carrying an especially meaningful backstory. The track became the creative spark that united Cat, Matthew, and Amu as songwriting partners, eventually leading to the band’s formation and forthcoming debut album.
The song originated through an unusual concept. While performing at weddings, the musicians planned to offer couples complimentary, tailor-made songs inspired by separate interviews about favorite artists and cherished records.
Although the idea never really caught on, one florist friend embraced it before her wedding, giving the trio the opportunity to craft something personal. That commission evolved into Sing Our Song, blending the couple’s romance with subtle reflections from the writers themselves.
